Wildcats Are Better Together
Together, we created an amazing day! We began with the 50th Reunion and Medallion Ceremony celebrating the Class of 1975 and ended with another lively Alumni Weekend Social at the Baldwin City Beer Company staffed by celebrity Baker servers. During the afternoon events hosted by each chapter house celebrated brotherhood and sisterhood across the years.
Special this year was the alumni and student choir concert. Drs. John and Susan Buehler, music professors from 1984 to 2009, led more than 80 alumni in a concert in Rice Auditorium. A highlight was the moving performance of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” composed by former Baker professor William Runyan.
Martha (Doty) Harwell, ’75, daughter of former President Doty, traveled the farthest—from the United Kingdom—to celebrate with her classmates. And Jeane (Bradley) Glasebrook, ’41, was our oldest attendee. We were happy to be able to sing Happy Birthday in advance of her turning 105 on May 26.
