Head football coach accepts NCAA coaching job

Jason Thoren has accepted a coaching position at an NCAA Division I football program and has stepped down as head coach. Baker assistant coach Brian Boyle, ’96, has been named interim head coach after spending 14 years on the Baker staff. In addition to assistant coach, he has served as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach. Read more at BakerWildcats.com.

Although sad to see Coach Thoren go, the Baker community is gratified to know that his time at Baker prepared him for this next step and is excited to see what his future will bring. He joins a long list of Baker players and coaches who have moved on to Division I programs and professional football organizations.
